A staple in men’s fashion is now fashion-forward for us ladies, too! So watch out guys and keep your suspenders close, because we ladies want to wear them too! I grabbed a few pairs of JJ Suspenders (thanks JJ!) because once I laid eyes on them; I knew I had to have them.
Here’s a little information on JJ Suspenders: “JJ Suspenders was created with the goal of designing fresh, high quality suspenders within a not-so-innovative industry. It started in 2014 when founders Jackson and Josh were shopping for suspenders to wear at a friend’s wedding and after visiting dozens of shops all they could find were a handful of generic, outdated and overpriced suspenders. Combining Jackson & Josh’s (JJ’s) prior entrepreneurial and manufacturing experience, JJ Suspenders was born with a series of designs that brought some much-needed innovation back into this stagnant industry.”
I fell in love with their fresh take on suspenders and had to get myself a few pairs! After all, we can wear them for many different occasions, just like our guys. But the bonus is… you AND your significant other can wear them… expanding both your wardrobe possibilities! Yesssss!
The ones I am wearing are their Chestnut Java leather suspenders. They are perfect for casual or semi-formal occasions. They have cool weathered hardware and come with really beautiful leather button attachments (if you rather use them instead of the clips). These suspenders are designed for heights between 5'6 and 6'4. I’m a little shorter than that (wink), but I think they still fit great!
Their soft elastic back strap makes these leather suspenders move and flex with you giving you greater comfort all day.
Check out their Peaceful Meadows seersucker suspenders too! The classic pinstripe-like, soft cotton fabric is the perfect accessory for Summer! With brown, full-grain leather accents and silver-toned hardware, these neutral-hued suspenders are very versatile. They are cut at the perfect width to ensure a modern look perfect for casual or formal wear. Designed for heights between 5'2 and 6'2.
And last, but certainly not least, their Storm Cloud, soft black suspenders are one of the most versatile accessories anyone can own. You can wear them around town, to work, or even a wedding! Their black leather detailing and silver-toned hardware really make these beauties stand out. Designed for heights between 5'2 and 6'2.
You will also find that your suspenders come with a few bonuses! They come with an extra 3 clips, buttons, and even a mini sewing kit. They thought of everything!
JJ Suspenders have a ton of suspenders to choose from! Their color and material choices are top notch and you can dress them up or dress them down. Either way, they will be the perfect accessory to any outfit and occasion… whether they are for you or your man. 😉 Happy Shopping!

ReplyDeleteThose are cute! I might wear them underneath a shirt (my belly is a bit too chubby to let them show!) because they would be much more comfortable than a belt!

ReplyDeletethey are really cute on you
ReplyDeleteI used to wear suspenders a lot in the early 70s. I even wore suspenders coveralls when I was pregnant. Very comfortable. These suspenders sounds more comfortable than the ones I had. I used to have shoulder pads so they didn’t dig in my shoulders. Shared on Facebook. Thank you for sharing!!
