Help Your Family Sleep Better with the AuCuTee White Noise Sound Machine!

Sleep is an elusive thing after having a baby. Every parent hopes they will have a good sleeper. When Wallace hit about 4 months we had a few weeks where he slept through the night. It was glorious! Then the teething started. Ever since then our nights have been either sleepless or still waking up every couple of hours. When he started to crawl and pull himself up that also contributed to him waking up more often.

When I received the AuCuTee White Noise Sound Machine I was very hopeful that it would really help Wallace sleep through the night. The AuCuTee White Noise Sound Machine is very easy to use. It needs to be plugged in and then there are only two buttons and turning the top cover to control the speed control.

The first button has timer settings. The left is a 30 minute timer, the middle is no timer which will keep it on continuously, the right is a 60 minute timer. The second button has the speed settings. The left is speed 1, the middle is the shut off, the right is speed 2. The wind speed control can also be adjusted by just turning the top cover.

With the wind speed control you can adjust it multiple ways with the 2 speed settings. With some trial and error you can find the perfect setting that will work for your baby. I’ve been playing around with the wind speed control to find what works best although the teething has been working against me.

I was so hopefully the first night I received it, that when arrived home late from a trip, I set it up in his room without ever reading the instructions. The first night it didn’t seem to work but that was because I had set it on the timer and I didn’t realize it. The next day I read the instructions and made sure to set it so it would stay on all night. Wallace didn’t sleep through the whole night but he slept for a good five hour stretch after his first time waking up. That meant I got a good stretch of much needed sleep too!

The white noise sound machine helped him sleep through the night for about a week before the next tooth started to arrive. I think once Wallace gets a break from his teething the AuCuTee White Noise Sound Machine will help him sleep through the night again.

I think it could even help if you are the type of person that needs some noise to fall asleep. If I can’t get it to work for Wallace I may even move it into our room to help me fall asleep faster.
