Safe Sleeping & Easy Cruising with HALO SleepSack Early Walker!

Keeping your child safe while they are sleeping is extremely important. Your child’s health and well-being depend on it. Always remember to free up your child’s sleeping area (especially if they are sleeping in a crib) from blankets, toys, pillows, bumpers and anything that could fall into the crib.

The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests that babies should be clothed in a wearable blanket instead of loose blankets to bed. With this important fact, I was armed and ready to find one for my little baby girl when I brought her home from the hospital.  

I did my research and found that the best out there (in my opinion) was HALO and their SleepSacks. I purchased one and used it with my daughter until she outgrew it. Now, as my daughter is older and cruising around, she needs one that will allow her to do so. This brings me to tell you all about HALO’s SleepSack Early Walker which I had the pleasure of trying out with my little lady.

The SleepSack Early Walker is perfect for replacing loose blankets in the crib and keeping our little ones warm and cozy while they are sleeping. The Early Walker has unique foot openings that can be pulled down so that your child’s feet can be warm all night, while in the morning, they can be pushed up so that your little one is free to move about. This is such a great idea and I couldn’t wait to try it out!

Upon opening the packaging I was immediately in awe of the softness of the SleepSack. I also loved the adorable flower design that adds a cute little girly touch. When my daughter saw it (she loves clothes) she immediately wanted to hold it. She also seemed drawn to the softness of the SleepSack, as she started snuggling with it right away. It was adorable!

Putting this on and taking it off is an easy task with the long zipper in the front. The SleepSack didn’t hinder my daughter from cruising around, playing and then settling down to look through some books. In fact, she seemed to rather enjoy having it on. Which is great!

(Helpful Hint: The sizing runs generous. When referring to the sizing chart, if your child is on the smaller end, I would recommend going down a size.)

Thanks to HALO and this wonderful product I have peace of mind knowing that my daughter is safe and warm in her crib at night. She sleeps soundly and happily while cozy in her new SleepSack and I can rest easy. I will continue to look to HALO, as I love how they make products that grow with your child from baby to toddlerhood. I can’t wait to see what they come out with next!
