What kid doesn’t love to play, create, and make a mess? I know my daughter does and she could definitely receive a gold star in this category. I like her to have fun, but sometimes the clean-up can be quite the challenge, or just a plain old hassle. That’s why I am excited to partner with Messmatz. I seriously think that if you have a child, you should own one of these!
Messmatz is a non-toxic, food-grade silicone activity mat, safe to play on and even eat off! There is a soft and flexible perimeter lip, which is great for containing messes or spills and will leave your surface protected. It’s large in size (24” x 18”) and even comes in three colors: pink, green, and blue!
There have been many times when my daughter has asked to play with Playdough, that I just cringed. I would find it everywhere after she was done playing; the rug, couch, under the cushions, and even tracked down the hall. Big mommy sigh…
Another big playtime catastrophe for me is her love of water play. This girl loves her water time and wants to play with it any chance she can get. It’s great for summer and spending time outdoors, but now that the weather is cooling down, it’s not the most indoor-friendly of activities. But, all this has changed thanks to Messmatz!
After the Playdough test, I put Messmatz up to the highest and most extreme challenge my daughter could give it… the water test! My daughter’s love of playing with water is insatiable. So I decided to set up a few cups, toys, and of course… water! My sweetie loves her color-change toys, so I tossed in a few ice cubes and let the fun begin.
Even after her infamous transference of water and spilling water more than a handful of times, the water was contained on the mat! I was in utter shock! It was such a mess, yet it was so amazing! When she was done playing, I just dumped the water, did a quick wipe with a paper towel, and it was good as new! Then I rolled it up and stored it away for the next use, which will probably be tomorrow! Haha.
Messmatz has rocked my cleaning world and it will yours too! My daughter loves her new mat, because it gives her the freedom she wants while playing. And I love the mat, because it lets me enjoy all that she wants to do without the worry of all the clean-up. Every parent deserves help once in a while, let Messmatz be that for you!
